Three Pumps Deployed to Suck Water Inundation on Gandhi Underpass

Tens of joint personnel conducted water suctioning towards 50-centimeter inundation on Gandi Underpass to accelerate the receding process.

"We deploy one suction unit to help decreasing the inundation," said Hardisiswan, Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept., Wednesday (9/27).
According to him, vehicle mobility was not quite high on underpass. But as public road access, suctioning must be done thus will not hampered the traffic.
Inundation on Jalan S Parman Has Been HandledMeanwhile, Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. deployed 2 mobile pumps thus it will be easier to relocate the water from road to channel.
"Two mobile pumps were deployed to help reducing inundation. We also cleaned the channel," said Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, Head Section of Central Jakarta Water Resources Dept's Channel Maintenance.
